An outlet village in Paris
Welcome in our village squares :
You won’t eventually notice it at first sight, because commercial centers and malls are not usually thought this way. The concept and the architecture of One Nation Paris are original on their own. Like an outlet village near Paris, the commercial center is designed around two main village squares. Stores gathered under an open sky. Two levels to wander around and to walk through fashion and styles. One could also sit and relax under the blue sky, before going back to a smart shopping. A unique occasion to chat and share as well, with friends, relatives or family. A little break in busy agendas.
The outlet village Paris mall’s design is as unique as the concept. It was designed by the up and coming firm, Architecture Whispers and Oasis (AWO), specialized in sustainable development and environmental quality. The building is elegant, streamlined, curved, bright, and filled with greenery, with surprises around every corner. The interior decoration by Malherbe Design has revisited the Palace of Versailles atmosphere with its sober tones – the epitome of French “Chic”: with three open patios called Place de l’Etoile, French Gardens and Marble Court in reference to the elegance and Parisian chic and the very close Palace of Versailles.
A commercial but sustainable concept
Kind of a bet, the Designers agency thought a commercial center could be sustainable and drive to a certain environmental quality. They gave a chance to low energy consumption, even in a large and public building. They imagined a place, an outlet village where seasons had their place. Indoor comfort talks to outdoor freedom.
The open sky concept ( = shop with the sky on our heads) leads to a controlled consumption of energy. During summer, no air conditioning in most parts of the outlet village. Apart from each store individual consumption, One Nation Paris is thus dividing its energy consumption by 2. In addition, shopping under an open sky is yet priceless.
During winter, whereas stores are heated on their own, the whole center does not use heat. That is a fact that at some point, wandering from a store to another could be felt as cold. But snow is rare in Paris, and shoppers could be protected from rain under patios and semi roofs. That is to say, this is the cost of thinking sustainability. And back to the initial purpose, shopping in One Nation Paris is like living the experience of an outlet village near Paris. No roofs except houses around main squares.
Prices and services
Last, One Nation Paris, outlet village Paris, is indeed an outlet village. It means you could find there best prices and best services. All proposed to emphasize your shopping experience. From nice restaurants (Trattoria Locale, Monument Café, Maison Foude) to outdoor entertainments for kids, fine services provided. Climbing, Ice skating, Super heroes exhibition, fun activities more easily doable in an open sky mall.
Even car sharing could be seen as a sustainable will. With a 60 sits coach, the dedicated shuttle to One Nation Paris, from Paris (Eiffel Tower) or Versailles Palace, gives opportunity to avoid around 30 cars to use gaz for a short period of time, to the outlet village Paris. Needless to say it is an option, but it gives credit to the whole concept.
When we telk about smart shopping, we remind here that all stores propose discount prices all year. From 30% up to 70% off. Ancient collections or up to date fashion styles, you will find best French designers items or outdoor clothes at best conditions.
Then take the occasion to shop smartly : marked prices, fine services and sustainable concept.
